So who is Jaimz? Born in 1993 my name is James Childs and I’m a North London Cally (Caledonian Road) MC and producer. I’ve been writing since the age of 13, I was heavily influenced by American rappers and the whole Hip hop scene, but as I grew older I started exploring and learning about different genres trying to find my own style and learning about all aspects of music from engineering, producing, and writing.

In 2009 I recorded my 1st mixtape Pre-Jamazin at Roundhouse Studios. Which I uploaded on YouTube, I wasn't very confident in my work so I didn't promote it. 

After I released Pre-Jamazin I focused a lot on producing and engineering, allowing me to work with a classical and rock group and setting up my own home studio where I started on my 2nd mixtape The First Step.
