The First Step's title reflects my first step introducing myself to the world and the music industry.
 
Our Deepest Fears is like a reminder to me that you always have to shine because sometimes we go through things that knock our confidence and we think why aim high or do something different when everything is knocking you back or its seems too far out of reach. Then you have that little or big voice in your head saying don’t be afraid to be who you are and to achieve your fullest potential.

Forget about all that small shit around me I gotta focus on BIG Things and living for the future  and being a teenager, a lot of things are promoted drugs, sex, money and I'm realising that most of that is superficial. Time to aim for bigger and better things. Lissten to get a sense. 

I wanted to start the mixtape with something dramatic and I think Big Things done that.

Track FOUR

I’m right in the middle of that teenage stage dealing with your average teenage ups and downs so that’s a part of it but I also live in inner city London so I see a range of people some well off and those not so well off. This song is for those not so well off. In the 1st verse I got some information incorrect in the song I said he killed her for £500 it was actually £50.

Lol Puff puff pass what more I gotta say. My boi was like yo Jaimz you gotta make a weed song for the weed heads (I think we were both high lol), I wanted to take a deeper look at why I and sometimes other people smoke, most of the time to enjoy it but sometimes just to escape.

Another song its weird I find myself playing this song more than the others don’t get me wrong I like Big Things and Escapism a lot. I guess I like the message behind it a bit like U can fly but more of uplifting vibe. 

MADE ME STRONGER

This song is about my transition from a boy to a man and talking about a lot of things I’ve been through, some good and some bad but at the end of the day what didn’t kill me only made me stronger.

These two designs were basically rubbish but then I thought just keep it natural and the final piece was made. The baby picture makes sense because  it relates to the first step we take as babies.
